Data Acquisition
Data acquisition is at the core of AppFive’s experience. Collectively, the AppFive engineers have decades of experience digitally acquiring data from a huge range of detectors, of all types and manufacturers.
Following are some of the types of instruments with which AppFive has experience:
- EDS detectors: analog and digital pulse processors
- EELS spectrometers: serial EELS, parallel EELS with photodiode array and CCD detectors
- Slow-scan CCD cameras: software or hardware (digital I/O) interface
- Video-rate CCD cameras: analog or digital interface
- SEM and STEM: rastered imaging with digital beam control, analog or pulse-counting imaging detectors
- Miscellaneous: Auger spectrometer, scanning SIMS
