AppFive engineers have extensive experience dealing with the entire digital imaging chain. From acquiring images from all different type of digital imaging hardware, to all kinds of image processing and analysis, we’ve done it.
Following are some of the things we’ve done in digital imaging:
- Image acquisition: slow-scan CCD cameras, analog and digital video-rate cameras, rastered acquisition (SEM and STEM)
- Image correction: bias and gain measurement and correction, distortion correction, image rotation and mirroring
- Intensity processing: brightness/contrast adjustment, gamma correction, histogram equalization
- Color processing: automated color adjustment, white point adjustment, false colorization, red-eye correction
- Fourier processing: FFTs, convolution, spatial filtering, diffractogram analysis, electron holography, lattice measurements
- 3-D imaging: TEM tomography tilt series reconstruction, 3-D image visualization
