Electron microscopes are notoriously difficult instruments to use. AppFive engineers have always prided themselves on their ability to take something inherently complicated and make it so anyone can do it.
Because the AppFive developers are also microscopists, they understand that you can’t just add more complicated applications on top of an already complicated instrument. We’ve successfully created many very sophisticated applications that are still easy to use. We think our history of software products is our best testimony:
- Emispec ES Vision: the first commercial spectrum imaging system to successfully give access to EELS, EDS, CCD and video acquisition in a single program
- Emispec Cynapse: workflow-based system for integrated TEM applications, including database storage
- Private label integrated imaging and analysis software: full TEM acquisition, automation and processing integrated with the microscope user interface
- Photology: sophisticated content-based automated image organization, in a highly simplified user interface for consumers
